Where to Buy: Sephora, Charlotte Tilbury Website Cost: $65 My Thoughts: I don't typically include eye creams in my regular skincare routine but the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Eye Rescue cream has now been added as one of my staple skincare products. I do not have many wrinkles under my eyes but sometimes I get dark circles after a few late nights and early mornings. The cream is easy to apply and a little bit goes a long way. This is important because it is a bit pricey but it will last for a good length of time. The cream contains retinol which is your skin's best friend. I like the natural glow it gives around the eyes to detract from signs of a late night. It also leaves my skin soft and refreshed around the area of application. I have a combination skin type and the cream does not make my skin extra oily or shiny in around my eyes. The cream has a slight scent but nothing that I would consider strong or one that lingers after application. I would recommend this cream if you a looking for a mid priced product that actually gives results. *I received this product for free from Influenster and Charlotte Tilbury in exchange for my honest review. ** #complimentary #GlowToner #MagicEyeRescue @Influenster @charlottetilbury

Where to buy: Sephora ( in store & online), Farmacy Website Cost: Mini size (1.7 oz) - $22, Full size (3.4 oz) - $34 My thoughts: This has quickly become my favorite way to remove my makeup! Before finding this cleansing balm, I was a make-up wipe user. As someone who mainly wears eyeshadow and lipstick/gloss on a daily basis, I felt like it was wasteful to use a large wipe. I got a trial size of this balm from Sephora and ever since then I've been hooked! I found myself scraping the edges of my sample size jar to get every ounce of the product! I pair this with a makeup eraser cloth and my makeup comes off with ease! I can see the makeup dissolving as I apply the balm. I just follow up with the cloth to wipe it away. It works on my high end eyeshadow that I apply along with primer. I wear contacts and it has never irritated my eyes. It also works well with removing foundation. I use my hands to apply the product so it can be a little messy when applying but the makeup and leftover balm on my hands rinses off easily. The balm is great for a variety of skin types. I tend to have combination T-zone skin and this doesn't leave me oily or dry. My skin feels so refreshed after cleansing. Farmacy is a very clean and natural brand and this product does not contain mineral oil and is cruelty free. I just purchased a full sized jar of this balm so it will be a staple in my beauty routine for the foreseeable future! I know you may not typically think of skincare or beauty products and think....Zyrtec. If you are familiar with the brand, they are best known for allergy medications and similar products. They have recently released non-medicated soothing face wipes that can wipe away particles such as pollen, dust and dirt on your face. All of these can be triggers for people with allergies, especially in the spring. My thoughts: I thought that if I've used one wipe I've used them all but these were better than expected! The wipe is a nice size so you won't need more than one to thoroughly wipe your face. It has a light but noticeable fresh scent, which I like, but it does not linger once you are done. The wipe is cool when it hits your face which provides a soothing effect. I did not experience any skin irritation when using this product but I am not someone who has sensitive skin. These wipes can be used to remove potential allergy triggers such as pollen which can be beneficial for people who enjoy the outdoors during allergy season. I do not typically have allergies (at least not enough to need regular medication during allergy season) so I use these wipes to "wipe the day away" at night before bed. Each pack comes with 25 wipes which is pretty standard for most wipe packs. The package is resealable and about the average size of any pack of makeup/cleansing wipes which makes them perfect for your purse or bag on the go! **I received incentives from Influenster to review this product. If you are interested in becoming a product reviewer for Influenster use my referral link to get started. ** If you have followed my blog or my YouTube channel for any stretch of time, then you know how much I LOVE Rihanna's beauty line Fenty Beauty! You will see quite a few reviews on various Fenty Beauty and Savage X Fenty products on my channel and coming to the blog. One of the newest products to come from Fenty Beauty is the Fenty Icon lipstick. This lipstick is unique for a couple of reasons: 1) You purchase the lipstick case separately 2) The actual lipsticks are refills not already in a case. This is in line with Fenty Beauty's efforts to be eco-friendly. Almost all of their skincare products come with refillable options so that after you make your initial purchase, you are only buying a refill cartridge and don't have to throw out your casing. I purchased this lipstick in two colors ( MVP and Flauntie Auntie) along with one of each color case. The case is offered in black and in a metallic nude color. You can also have the metallic nude case engraved for a few dollars extra. I do want to note that you don't have to purchase a case for each color unless you just want to. The design of the lipstick is so that you can just switch the colors out between the cases. For me, it worked out great since I purchased 2 lipstick colors and 1 of each case color. The Fenty Icon line includes 10 semi-matte colors that are reds and neutrals designed to look great on a variety of skin tones. The lipstick contains Vitamin C and E which are moisturizing and conditioning. As with all other Fenty beauty products, the Fenty Icon lipstick is cruelty-free. Where to buy: Fenty Beauty Website, Sephora, Ulta Beauty Cost: $32 (for both case and refill) The case is $12 separately. My thoughts: I was surprised at how long-lasting this lipstick is. With most lipsticks, I don't expect them to last through a meal but this one actually did! It is a semi-matte, so it still goes on creamy and has a little bit of a shine but doesn't look glossy and is not drying like some matte lipsticks can be. The lipstick goes on smooth and creamy. A fun fact: The shape of the lipstick is actually modeled after Rihanna's lips to assist in precise application. It GIVES pigment and I'd even say to some extent gives a lip stain effect (especially the brighter red) because even when the initial coverage comes off my lips were still tinted with color. The two colors I selected were MVP, which is described as a blue red and Flauntie Auntie, which is described as a mahogany nude. Flauntie Auntie has a nice deep, rich color that I will see myself migrating to as a staple in the fall and winter months. I love colors that fall in the chocolate/ deep brown categories and this one is no exception. The color MVP is truly that! I LOVE this color! I love a good red lipstick and I have found myself gravitating towards red shades more and more. I love this red because it is fun and bright. It gives spring and summer vibes with a little sexy on the side! I have received compliments on pics where I was wearing this color (cuz Rona still out and I'm still masked up!) so it's definitely an attention-getter! |
